Holbrook, Arizona

Campground name:  OK RV Park
Location:  Holbrook, AZ
Date(s) of stay:  Apr 11-12, 2001

Campsite Area:
  • Pads:  Gravel but very level and fine
  • Pull through/back In:  60' pull through
  • Space between sites: Close but it was fine.
  • Distance from freeway:  Less than a mile, very convenient

Hookups:
  • Water:  5 faucets with 2 spigots to share with neighbor who parks in opposite direction
  • Sewer:  8 connections to share with neighbor - very well thought out
  • Electric:  30 and 50 amp

Cost:  $30/night with Good Sam Discount

Pros:  Long pull throughs are nice.  Some folks are just staying overnight and don't bother to disconnect.   My Autonet wifi works well here.  Cost is fine, would not want to pay much more.  Very basic campground but well maintained.

Cons:  It would be crowded here if all the sites were full.  They made an effort to put an empty site betweeen everyone.  Campground is very close to Petrified Forest and Painted Desert National Parks/Monuments.

Stay here again? Yes
